Moot Court Board I

Spring semester continuation of Moot Court Board I. Restrictions: 2L ONLY Course Note: Students must enroll in Fall and Spring semesters individually to receive full credit. (LAW 1004, LAW 01004) Moot Court Board I is a year-long course worth 2 credits: Students earn 0 credits in the Fall semester and 2 credits in the Spring semester. Students must participate in both semesters to receive credit. Students are selected for membership on the Moot Court Board in the second year based on their performance in the First Year Legal Writing Class or the Moot Court Board open tryout competition. Second year students on the Moot Court Board help administer the Reimel Competition, assist with the first year Legal Writing program including drafting the bench memoranda for the first year appellate advocacy problems, assist with practice arguments for outside competition teams, and handle other administrative duties related to the Moot Court program. Concurrent registration in Legal Writing 3: Litigation (LAW 1007) is required. Exam Info: No Exam
