Externship:Securities & Exchan

Federal security clearance required. Students enrolled in this externship will work in Philadelphia ofice of the SEC's Division of Enforcement. The Division of Enforcement investigates possible violations of securities laws, and negotiates settlements, and prosecutes civil actions in federal court and before administrative law judges. Externs will assist Division of Enforcement attorneys in a wide range of activities, including investigating suspicious stock trading, reviewing documents produced by companies suspected of violating securities laws, conducting legal research, preparing civil complaints on behald of the SEC, and preparing and responding to written motions.
