Executive leaders will be provided an appreciation for how risk, when viewed from a "holistic perspective," can be used to drive the value enhancement and creation for the firm, in addition to the more conventional insurance based view of risk. In order to realize these benefits, leaders must develop a framework for understanding the various types of risks facing the firm, the interaction between these risk types and the related impact on business decisions including strategy and tactics.
