Introduction to chemical, physical and geological oceanography; biology and ecology of marine organisms (Plankton, seaweeds, invertebrates, fishes, sea birds, marine mammals); and comparative ecology of marine communities and ecosystems (estuaries, rocky intertidal, kelp forests, coral reefs, deep sea, hydrothermal vents).
