Disruptive Tech Prac of Law

The practice of law is changing. Technology is one of the forces that will have the most impact on the provision of legal services in the 21st century. The goals of this module are to expose students to: (1) the role that disruptive technology is playing and will continue to play in changing the legal profession; and (2) the changes that disruptive technology will have on the practice of law and the work of entry-level lawyers. The innovations that we will be discussing are all relatively new (most were founded within the last 10 years or less.) By understanding the impact that technology is having and will continue to have on the practice of law, you will bring new value and insights to your future employers. Moreover, by learning about the technological tools being developed to make lawyers' work more efficient, you will be able to launch a career that takes advantage of these tools that will make your work more efficient and effective.
